Can you believe summer is already here? The Dayton chapter has been busy working on the final months of the 2011-2012 program year.

April proved to be very busy for our chapter. Our B&B focused on security and was a huge success. We greatly appreciate the support of our local DSS chapter and Mr. Chris Layman. We learned how to protect ourselves when we win the lottery and how to improve OPSEC. It was a great event – thank you very much to Chris for his time and his entertaining presentation.

We had a great turnout to our April Social Hour with Mr. Miley! It was a great networking event. We also had a number of Junior Force Council members in attendance. It was an amazing social hour and created many new connections between members and non-members. Thank you again Mr. Miley for your time and your support!

With April being such a busy month, we have lightened the schedule for May. Our next Bagels and Business will be in June. We will host the social hour on the second Thursday. Stay tuned to our website and Facebook!

You will see a slow down in our chapter activities over June and July. The board will continue to meet with the new board members and chapter officers and work on the schedule for the next program year. Please contact one of the board members if you have any suggestions regarding topics or events you would like to see hosted by the chapter. We are always looking for ideas!

Have a wonderful start to summer and remember the success of our chapter hinges on the support of our members and volunteers. Thank you to everyone who supported our April events – if you missed something in April, we look forward to seeing you in May or June!
