The next few months are filled with great educational opportunities and opportunities to network with your fellow contracts professionals. Stay informed by checking the Dayton NCMA website, or following us on Facebook, NCMA Dayton, Ohio Chapter, We will keep these updated with information regarding upcoming events.
Save the Date for these upcoming events:
April 3rd – OPSEC and Contracts. This will be a great presentation regarding security requirements for federal contracting. We will host a speaker from DSS and the ATIC Security Officer. Special thanks to Woolpert for sponsoring this event.
April 18th – National Education Seminar – “100 Worst Mistakes in Federal Contracting,” by Ms. Michelle Currier, CFCM, CPCM, Fellow. This is an educational event you don’t want to miss!
Remember your Dayton NCMA chapter meets the third Thursday of every month at Bar Louie, at the Greene, from 5:30-7:30pm. This is a great networking opportunity. Come out and meet other contracts professionals in the Dayton area! The Dayton Chapter provides appetizers.
We are over halfway through the 2011-2012 NCMA program year. As this year comes to an end we have three members who are coming to the end of their three (3) year term. We will say goodbye to Ms. Carly Cox, Ms. Amber Scott and Mr. David Morgan. As they depart we will need volunteers to take their positions. The election committee is preparing our call for volunteers and it will hit your email inbox and the chapter website in the next few weeks. Please consider making time to support your local NCMA chapter.

| March Bagels and Business, sponsored by DAYTON AEROSPACE, INC - | The March Bagels and Business, sponsored by Dayton Aerospace, Inc, will feature a debate between Mr. Robert Shofner, SES, Director, Enterprise Sourcing Group (ESG), and Col. Roger Westermeyer, Deputy Director of Contracting for Air Force Materiel Command. These two dynamic leaders will duke it out over the age-old “Program Management v. Contract Management.” You don’t want to miss this!
